Nesconset Fire Department EMS Division

Captain: Scott Falley

Co. 1 Lieutenant: Steven Light

Co. 2 Lieutenant: Kenny Walsh

The EMS Division of the Nesconset Fire Department is a branch of our Department that is jointly operated by the Ladder Co. and the Engine Co. The EMS Lieutenants (one from each company) manage the division under the direction of the EMS Captain and our Medical Director. We run ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulances, depending on the severity of the call. Our ALS members can administer drugs for pain management and seizure control. All our EMT’s are trained to administer nasal narcan. A coordinated effort is being made to stop the epidemic of drug overdoses in our town and across Suffolk County. In 2012, Nesconset EMS ran over 1,000 Ambulance Calls and helped all who called on us. Our ambulances are state of the art vehicles equipped with the most up to date and current medical equipment available, including AEDs, Defibrillators, Auto-Pulse heart boards, electric stretchers, and more. All residents in Nesconset receive the best possible medical care and transport to the Hospital that can be provided. The Nesconset Fire Department takes pride in our EMS program and our Ambulances. If you need help, please dial 911 and we will respond as quickly as possible.
