WELCOME TO THE NESCONSET FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Nesconset Fire Department Engine Co. 1 has 44 active members who respond 24/7 to a wide variety of calls. The Engine Company is in-charge of hose line operations inside of a structure fire. The officers train and reinforce many different techniques that help the firefighters extinguish fires. Along with hose line operations the Engine Company also responds to EMS calls with their EMT's and Paramedics. All members of the Engine Company are cross trained to ride and operate Ladder Truck operations, Heavy Rescue Operations, Water Rescues, and a variety of other types of emergencies. When the alarm sounds, the Nesconset Fire Department operates as one interconnected Company.
