WELCOME TO THE NESCONSET FIRE DEPARTMENT

Since 1935, the Nesconset Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the citizens of Nesconset and its neighboring areas. We are a dual agency department, proudly responding to both Fire and EMS emergencies in order to best serve our neighbors. The Nesconset Fire Department is made up of over 100 paid and volunteer members that respond to emergencies at all hours and in all weather conditions; day or night, rain or shine. We train twice a week to ensure that the citizens of Nesconset receive the most professional and effective emergency services available. All new firefighters in the Nesconset Fire Department cross-train in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) to effectively treat patients at any time and in any situation.
